SweetEase has an incredibly inspiring brand story. Azar Moayeri, our beautiful founder, was the first Chemical Engineer to graduate from the University of Edinburg. After this 100% amazing accomplishment, Azar returned to Iran where she worked in Senior Leadership at the important National Petrochemical Company.

Azar began a new adventure by moving to Canada. In fact, she blended the gentle & natural ingredients in our Wax Strips from her very own kitchen! Azar soon noticed that the only hair removal products she could find were chemical lotions, bleaches, or creams. Azar did NOT want to use these harsh products on her skin. Instead, she combined her scientific education and her knowledge of the traditional wax she used in Iran. Azar used only clean and non-toxic ingredients to formulate Parissa and Persian Wax, and soon after, SweetEase.

The all-natural wax that Azar created was a huge hit in Canada and internationally. She upgraded her family business to a modern eco-facility on the North Shore of Vancouver, ensuring that all her products were made with in a way that respected the environment.

As her business grew, Azar realized a need for wax strips for a younger demographic. She aimed to formulate a product that was ultra-gentle and easy to use for anyone just getting started with hair removal. So next, she created SweetEase Wax Strips.
